Hurricane Ridge  The must see jewel of the Olympic National Park.

Hurricane Ridge is an easy 17 mile drive taking you up to 5,200 feet elevation. The spectacular mountains are beauty beyond words. The day lodge and many trails offer breath taking views of the glacier-clad peaks of the Olympic Mountains, panoramic views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the alpine meadows.

Lake Crescent

Lake Crescent is a crystal clear 12-mile long lake located 17 miles west of Port Angeles on Highway 101. It's just 1 mile from Shadow Mountain RV Park and Campground. The glacier-carved lake offers swimming, boating, fishing, Marymere Falls and Ancient Forest Trails.

Sol Duc Valley, Falls and Hot Springs

Enjoy a hot soak at Sol Duc Hot Springs resort, located 26 miles from Shadow Mountain on a well maintained and paved National Park road, or a lovely hike to Sol Duc Falls.

Salt Creek Recreation Area

Located just 30 minutes from Shadow Mountain, explore Tongue Points famous Tide Pools, Camp Hayden WWII Military Bunkers, Bird Watching and sweeping views of The Strait of Juan De Fuca and Vancouver Island.

The Area

Shadow Mountain RV Park and Campground is centrally located on the Olympic Peninsula, making it a good base camp as you explore the area. Many people stay three or four days as they visit area attractions like the Hoh Rain Forest, Hurricane Ridge or our neighbor to the north Victoria, Canada.
